Creating futuristic workspace opportunity UX Case study

We created a unique job recruiting platform which is mainly focused on the Robotic Process Automation job opportunities which will enhance the specific user to reach and get the results without any distraction.

“RPA Jobs will generate nearly 2 lakh jobs in India by 2021” – Daniel Dines, CEO and Cofounder of UI Path

Advisor: S M Shivashankar

Robotic Process Automation is the business process automation technology based on metaphorical software robots (bots) and artificial intelligence.

Problem: With the scattered job opportunities at 100+ job recruiting websites in India makes the searcher more distracted.

Challenge:

  • How we create a meaningful experience by connecting and bridging the employer and employee?
  • How we create a platform with the rich user experience of respected RPA jobs and their variables without any cognitive distraction?

Solution:

How do you feel when your opportunities are listed in front of you without any distractions?

We created a unique job recruiting platform which is mainly focused on the Robotic Process Automation job opportunities which will enhance the specific user to reach and get the results without any distraction.

And in addition, smart assistant developed by industrial experts is integrated to provide the users with relevant information related to their jobs.

“A problem well stated is a problem well solved” - Charles Kettering

Target Audience:

Software developers who are in the skill knowledge of developing bots or artificial intelligence.

User Interview:

Talked to research groups of various ages of experiences, we realized that technological specification is the basic need of these groups.

Competitive Analysis:

Information Architecture

By making Workflow chart, we can get into the Information Architecture.

Low Fidelity and Critique Session:

We printed out each page of the user flow and analyze the each and every user entry and action, this way we get into more perspectives into consideration”

Mood Board:

To create the mood board, we took some of the inspiration related to robotics, jobs, a technology from Pinterest collections. We also took real-life inspiration of robots, automation, colour palette, figures, shape and motions. Inspiration from real-life helps users to connect with it.

We also took real-life inspiration of robots, automation, colour palette, figures, shape and motions. Inspiration from real-life helps users to connect with it.

Branding:

So as above mentioned, we took real-life inspiration and designed a logo and carry forward it to the branding process.

After many discussions and iterations, we came to this final logo which indicates the robotic technology and satisfies our brand identity. The circle behind the robotic resembles a job portal where your job opportunities are here.

UI Design Phase:

After setting up the colour and style, it became very easy for us to take forward the visual design. We really want the design to be simple and user friendly, so we took colours as brand colours and carried out throughout the designs and created a brand identity to RPA Jobs.

Take Away:

  1. Understanding the user and client needs are essentials in any project.
  2. Without my Boss’s different perspective, this couldn’t be done.
  3. Printing out the designs helps everyone to review and gives feedbacks efficiently and effectively.
  4. Iterations are good.
  5. Making clear wireframe with each action help to see the overall scenario of the product effectively.
